Multiple Intelligence Lesson Plan for: Archeology

Have students write and perform a Rap Song about something
they have learned about.

Work in pairs or small groups to dig up a broken plate
at a "dig site". Have students try to put the pieces
together to make a plate. Also, let students work on
cutting and piecing together a picture of a vase.

Have students make a poster and also display items found
at ther "dig site". Have students think about how their
experience was similar to what an archeologist would do on
the job. Have students compare their "dig" to a real
archeological dig.

Create a "dig site" outside for students to work on an archeological
dig. Make predictions of what might be found in the dig site.
You can either let students dig and find what is already in the
ground or you can plant some objects for the students to find.
